Thinking about making it look like a Film Opener

Titles

We decided to put specific titles in certain part of the opener where we thought was a bit long but didn't want to trim it down, by putting the names in whilst Amy's character was walking down and towards the underground it gave the audience something else to focus on other than waiting for that certain shot to be over.

Advised by our teacher and peers we thought it would be best to put the title name 'Paranoia' on top of the scene where Amy's character was walking over to the stair to make her way to the underground. This just helped the whole 2 minutes seem like a real film opener rather than a trailer which we didn't want it to seem like, it also again gave the audience something to focus on as the scene was a bit longer and had less in than the other scenes.

The font we used for the title was one that would stand out, it has a creepy atmosphere about the title and is a bit sketchy and see through in some parts of the lettering, this represents our films genre or a thriller but also horror. It also goes well with the name 'Paranoia' as the sketchiness represents the mind state of the person, especially throughout the film.

We kept the titles font and colours very easy to read, and somewhat plain with a white colour fill and black outline so they stood out more and were more visible.

The titles to do with the production, directing and 'starring' were featured in the bottom right corner, where the names were all featured in the middle of the underground 'catwalk' and slowly wiped across as Amy walked on them (at one point) and wiped/faded when Amy did out of the frame in the underground stair scene. We also chose scene that were longer than essentially we didn't want to shorten down to insert them to, this created the effect of the scene feeling shorter as the names gave something to focus on.
