Thinking about Mise-en-scene 1.1 Costumes

Mise-en-scene is important to the opener as it provides the visuals the audience are going to focus on and be watching, it's key to making the opener look more realistic and for realism, especially with stereotypes and specific character profiles.

Costumes

For the main character's costume we thought about practical footwear, with an all black outfit of a top, skirt and tights, with the dark Dm shoes. The fur coat goes well as it provides a character profile, showing wealth aswell as creating an almost pimp like character, going with the gangster type theme. This can also be used to represent the age, as its teenagers- to young adults it can show a lot of stereotypes for this type of age and gender in the film.

For the 'gang leader' we had them with an old school flip phone, to take the audience back to a late 90's early 2000's vibe. Also showing a fur coat, and gold chain creating the same pimp like character of wealth linking with their personality of a gang leader who 'owns the streets' due to the clothing.
The other people in the underground scene we wanted to be hooded and representing the stereotypical gang profiles.

Gangster crew

For the drug deal scene we had (Hannah) dress casual but again with a hood to show the 'gangster' look, and to look stereotypical of a street dealer would wear.
